All,
A few quick updates:
I. dWeb Developer Docs
We are pushing out dWeb`s developer documentation. Some of the docs have launched. You can find the documentation here:
You can take a look at the sidebar menu (Shikhar can walk you through) and see the entire sitemap of the documentation, to get a grasp for what is to come. As the days go on, many new pages will launch off so keep it on refresh. Most of the /protocols section is there for now, which is exhaustive.

II. dNames and dDNS Updates
I will be issuing a new update to the `ddns` smart contract that will change how the entire dWeb domain name system will function and I believe this time around, it will be easy to build around. A few notes about the changes ahead:
II.A — Creation of dTLDs
- Anyone can create a dTLD (like .dcom) from the dNames app.
- The creator of a dTLD can choose what the registration cost is for their dTLD and it will be instantly published via the contract`s ARISEN-based database.
- As soon as a dTLD is created on dNames, anyone can register the dTLD. For example, if you created “.awesome”, I could register “jared.awesome”.
- All dTLD fees are paid in RIX and the @peeps user will take care of all RIX-based payments on the backend, to dTLD creators. On the frontend users will pay the RIX equivalent in Bitcoin, Paypal, etc to register the domain. The dNames app will take 5% of the dTLD payment (in RIX) and will send the rest of the RIX to the account of the dTLD creator.
II.B — Registration Of Domains
- The dWeb`s domain tree will be truly unlimited, since dTLDs can be created instantly by anyone (without an auction or anything).
- Domains are not limited in characters and can be any size. For example, I can register “j.d”, literally, without issue. Obviously, domain costs will vary, as they`re based on what the underlying dTLD registration cost is (set by the dTLD creator). For example, if I create “.dcom” and the registration cost is 1000 RIX, the cost to register “jared.dcom” will be whatever 1000 RIX is worth in Bitcoin or US Dollar.
II.C Managing dDNS Records
- The contract will also include the necessary actions to manage a domain`s dDNS records. All records will be managed via the contract, making dDNS management easier than ever.
The new dDNS system and dNames update will take around 15–20 days. I will keep you guys updated. This is the most extensive decentralized domain system to date and I`m excited about it.

Many new updates are on the way! I will update you guys further in the morning.
LOVE YOU ALL!!!
